Social Action Campaign - The worst place to be disabled

The purpose of this documentary was to get the attention brought to the people who are living in rough condition just because they are disabled. A reporter went to Ghana to see what the living conditions were for disabled people and what actually happens to then where they live. She found that people are disabled because they were cursed, either at birth or later on in life and that's why they became disabled. Also, there is excuses that it is a 'spiritual' belief as to why people are disabled. She finds that there are many different treatment centres that people take their family to, to be 'cured', such as prayer camps. However, she later finds that there is a treatment centre that actually offers help to the disabled people of Ghana.

The effectiveness of this documentary is just trying to get the government to put a stop to the 'healing camps' involved. Theses types of places are there to trick families into paying priest into helping to cure the families 'disabled child with them not realising that it doesn't help them in any way.

My personal response to this documentary is great sadness to the disabled people. It makes me want to do something to help them, such as starting charities to raise money and help provide more support to the treatment centre that is helping them to get better. I think that this sort of issue should be more in the public because I don't think many people know about this situation and I think that it should be made more aware s a lot could be done to help put a stop to 'healing amps' and actually help build hospitals an treatment centres.

Orphan Black - Serial

Factual information:
The director is Graeme Manson. The year that this was first released was on march 30 2013. The main cast is Tatiana Maslany and Jordan Gavaris. This is a series about clones.

Format and genre:
This is a serial drama. It is viewed as a science fiction.

Narrative Elements:
The basic plot is about Sarah Manning coming discovering that she is in fact a clone and she has many sister clones, and she joins forces with some and tries to discover how this started. After season 2, the ending has been left open for the return of season 3 to tell the end of the story.
